For the purposes of this list foods have been excluded which contain soya and all forms of soya products including vegetable oil, hydrolysed vegetable protein and lecithin. On analysis some of these ingredients have been found to contain no detectable levels of soya protein, but expert opinion has suggested there may still be free amino acids present. In addition foods have been excluded which have any precautionary warning statements regarding soya.

Products produced by companies other than those listed may be appropriate for inclusion on this list but the MFD has not been supplied with relevant data.
